Rationale... is a five year old editorial cartoon that currently runs in The Rice Thresher.

All cartoons are based primarily on campus issues. These issues can range from campus food to zany Registrar antics. Sometimes Rationale... manifests itself to be homages to cartoon greats, interactive ventures, or spiteful jabs at administrative pomp.

The experience of reading a Rationale... for non-Rice University people would be equivalent to hearing an inside joke. You hear it, but you just don't comprehend.

If and when that happens, just visit the extras page and saturate yourself with silly silly Rationale... items like wallpapers, fonts, and icons.

And remember, with every image you view/download/fondle/poke, a donation of five (5) cents is given to a starving cartoonist in America *.
